Doctors & Staff

Not only does every staff member at Hulen Hills Animal Hospital love animals, but they go through weekly training on veterinary topics, developments in the veterinary medical community, and customer service excellence. Continuing Education is just one of the ways in which the staff at Hulen Hills Animal Hospital dedicates themselves to patients and to their owners!

Dr. Steve Hotchkiss headshotDr. Steve Hotchkiss

 

Dr. Steve Hotchkiss has been with Hulen Hills Animal Hospital since 1992. Dr. Hotchkiss received both his B.S. and Doctorate degrees from Texas A&M, where he was awarded top surgeon of his class. In 2001, Dr. Hotchkiss served as the President of the Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association. He and his wife, Lisa, have three beautiful children, two dogs and a cat. Dr. Hotchkiss is especially interested in orthopedic and neuro surgery and has taken many advanced courses in these areas.

 

Dr. Ashlie McBroom

 

Dr. McBroomDr. Ashlie McBroom is a Texas A&M Veterinary Medicine graduate and has been with Hulen Hills since June of 1999. Dr. McBroom and her husband, Chad, have two wonderful children, Brett Thomas and Megan Rose. Her family also includes two Labrador Retrievers, Merle and

Maggie. Her favorite thing about Hulen Hills Animal Hospital is "our continued commitment to provide the highest quality medicine and care to our patients and clients".

Dr. Mike Nigliazzo joined our team as an associate veterinarian in June 2000 after graduating from Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Nigliazzo is a native Texan. He grew up on a farm in Navasota, Texas, where his parents are now retired and raise cattle. He has an identical twin brother named Zach, who is a youth pastor in College Station. Dr. Nigliazzo has a special interest in dentistry and bone restorative techniques for treating severe peridontal disease. "I decided to join the Hulen Hills staff after a month-long internship here in September, 1999. The progressive nature of the practice solidified my desire to work in an environment where high-quality medicine was performed."

Our medical support staff employs trained veterinary technicians to assist the doctors in providing the highest quality medical care. In addition, animal caretakers work diligently to provide a comfortable atmosphere for your pet during a stay at the hospital.
