The PARC Cares for Service Dogs in Training

At The PARC, we know how special and unique the bonds are between a person with a disability and their service dog. Since 2011, we have partnered with Canine Companions for Independence® to provide over $100,000 of complimentary wellness and emergency veterinary care to the service dogs in training that are being raised in Fort Worth.

We take care of each class of puppies until they are 18 months old when they depart to their advanced training. To date, we’ve cared for 44 puppies.

These special dogs are heroes. We are honored to offer our expertise and abilities to care for Canine Companions for Independence puppies while on their path to ultimate greatness – becoming the priceless best friend of a person with a disability adult or child.
